Invacare Corporation (NYSE: IVC) is an American manufacturer and distributor of non-acute medical equipment including wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers, pressure care and positioning, as well as respiratory products. Headquartered in Elyria, Ohio, the company currently distributes its product to more than 80 countries around the world.

A former employee mentioned, "Invacare is not the best place to work. I was taken advantage of and treated unfairly. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. I was happy once the task had been completed and I could move on from this place."

"Stressful work environment, micromanaged culture, work constantly piled on with no way of ever getting close to caught up, no real appreciation (you may get an annual ice cream or hotdog) Don't even entertain an interview here."

"Long days with no lunch break. Constant fear of being laid off. Managers and Senior Level people do not listen to you. Overloaded with projects due to previous layoffs. Everyone in the department is looking for new jobs and doesn't want to be there. No career advancement or guidance. No one to ask for help due to previous layoffs of people that had seniority at the company. Layoff specific people to prevent age and gender discrimination lawsuits even if they are top performing and valued team members."
